Fresh Beer Friday: Flying Fonio IPA

We're stoked about our upcoming new beer release!!

Fonio IPA: A light American India Pale Ale with a smooth hop flavor and low bitterness. This beer showcases Fonio, a West-African ancient grain, that has been recently revitalized and known for lightening the body of the beer as well as contributing tropical fruit & white wine characteristics. Expect tropical hop flavors of gooseberry, mango, lemon grass, pear and stone fruit from the use of El Dorado and Hallertau Blanc hops.

ABV: 6%.

Fonio is a tiny, ancient grain that has been cultivated for thousands of years in West Africa. It's considered one of the oldest cultivated grains on the continent, often referred to as a "superfood" due to its impressive nutritional profile. Fun fact: in food, Fonio comes across as very nutty, but not in beer! Instead, you can expect tropical fruit flavors to shine through in every sip.
