Firkin Friday: Layover in Hannover

We're re-releasing our collab beer with Gilde Brewery - a Munich Helles! "Layover in Hannover" will be available on draught, in cans and in a firkin cask.

What's a Firkin? It's a type of keg that houses cask conditioned ale. This cask ale (or real ale) is beer that has gone through a secondary fermentation in the vessel from which it is dispensed. The carbonation occurs naturally from the fermentation process. *chef's kiss*

This collaboration Munich Lager features a new malt from Malteurop, Munich Light 5L Malt.

Munich 5 is a highly kilned malt, produced using the finest North American spring barley. Their specialized kilning process creates a clean but rich malty flavor with a slightly bready and nutty aroma, producing a amber-orange hue in the final beer.
